About Dr. Amir Barznouni
Dr. Amir Barznouni was born in 1985 in Neyshabur, located in Khorasan Razavi. He completed his primary, middle, and high school education in Neyshabur, where he also attended the Center for Developing Brilliant Talents (Sampad) during his middle and high school years. In 2003, he gained admission to the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, achieving a remarkable rank of 190 in the highly competitive national entrance examination. He pursued his studies at this institution from 2003 to 2010. During his medical studies, he was actively involved in various literary organizations, research centers, and academic journals, including the Mashhad Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Research Center.
In 2014, he achieved a rank of 290 in the medical assistant examination, which led to his acceptance into the bone and joint surgery program at Shahid Beheshti University of Tehran without any quota restrictions. After completing a four-year orthopedic surgery residency at Imam Hossein Hospital, he graduated in 2018 with a specialized board degree in orthopedics from this university.
Throughout his orthopedic studies, he gained valuable insights from esteemed professors, including Dr. Alireza Manafi, a specialist in pelvis and hip surgeries and a trailblazer in this field in Iran, as well as Dr. Farzad Amouzadeh and Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Sarzaim, both recognized knee specialists and pioneers in knee surgery within the country. Additionally, he learned from Dr. Gholamhossein Kazemian and Dr. Reza Tawakli, who are experts in shoulder and sports injury surgery.
Following the completion of the orthopedic course and the acquisition of a specialized board certificate in 2018, he initiated his career in Saveh City, in the Markazi province, to work on a specialized project. Upon finishing this project, he continued his practice in a private clinic in both Saveh and Tehran, dedicated to serving the community. He is currently engaged in a highly specialized fellowship program focused on hip and pelvis surgeries at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran.
His extensive experience encompasses a range of surgical procedures, including those for hip, acetabular, and hip fractures, as well as subspecialty surgeries for the knee, hip, and shoulder, in addition to surgeries for sports injuries.
